Waukee isn’t home to just small-town dive bars any more. Suburbia bars and restaurants like Louie’s Wine Bar have popped up. Get down with Saturday and Sunday brunches or a glass of wine at Louie’s after a long day at the office. This will be one popular place for the football moms after a Warrior victory.

This new establishment in Waukee doesn’t have to be just a hang-out in the evenings. Draught House 1908 serves up a mean breakfast to get you nice and full before game time or get you back into shape if you’re a little sore from the night before. Mickey’s Irish Pub
I loved going here with my buds when we were younger. We would always order custom pizzas — they’re well worth a try. Mickey’s also has a lot of fun options for a night out on the town, including a pool table, karaoke, live bands and televisions for the big game. Enjoy an evening on the their patio or sink into one of their comfy lounge couches near the pool table.

Saints Pub & Patio
This bar knows how to have a good time. When it’s nice out, the garage doors roll up and let the breeze come right through. Just like most of the bars in Waukee, Saints is both bike and car friendly. Don’t forget, happy hour lasts all day long on Sundays.

Sure, this might not be the bar you would go to watch a game at but when you put bowling and brews together, it can be pretty entertaining. Their bar features Bud Light, Coors Light, Blue Moon and well drinks. You’ll want to visit the ally on Friday or Saturday nights to get down with lights and fun music.
