Des Moines artist Van Holmgren came up with a Wu-Tang Clan-themed food truck illustration for Saturday's Food Truck Throwdown at the Des Moines Social Club. He ended up going viral thanks to the hip hop group sharing a photo on its Facebook page.

The illustration was an ODB Sushi Truck, with references to Ol' Dirty Bastard's hit "Shimmy Shimmy Ya."

"On Saturday morning I still didn't have an idea, but I was listening to ODB," Holmgren said. "I was listening to the lyrics and thought 'Wait, is he talking about sushi?' Then I realized fine, it will be the ODB sushi truck."

Holmgren sent the Wu-Tang Clan Facebook page a message with the photo, saying if they liked it they could share it. The photo was shared Sunday night and by Monday afternoon had more than 13,000 likes and 1,800 shares.

As for the idea of actual Ol' Dirty Sushi, Holmgren said he was fine with someone running with the idea.

"I would actually go to that, I think it's a good idea," Holmgren said.

Holmgren's S.O.S. show opens 7-10 p.m. Friday at The Lift, 222 Fourth St.
