The year after 80/35 started, Omaha got its own volunteer-run festival, the Maha Music Festival. On Sunday, Maha announced 12 acts, including Modest Mouse, Atmosphere, Purity Ring, Wavves and The Jayhawks.

The festival is held August 15 at Askarben Village in Omaha. Other acts on the bill are Alvvays, Ex Hex, The Good Live, Speedy Ortiz, All Young Girls Are Machine Guns, Freakabout and Both.

Modest Mouse released its sixth album, "Strangers to Ourselves," in March. The Washington band headlined the 80/35 Music Festival in 2010. Atmosphere and Wavves are also 80/35 veterans.
