It’s never too early to start planning for next summer's music festivals.
Set to take place May 25-27, 2018, in Forest City, the Tree Town Music Festival has unveiled a handful of acts set to appear at the annual country music and classic rock event.
Announced acts, according to the Tree Town website, are listed below:
- May 24: Eddie Money
- May 25: Cole Swindell, Brett Young, Michael Ray and Ryan Griffin
- May 26: Keith Urban
- May 27: Alabama, Charlie Daniels Band, Elizabeth Lyons and Maiden Dixie
More acts are to be unveiled as the festival date approaches, the Tree Town Facebook page says. Festival organizers announced in May — during the 2017 event — that the Grammy Award-winning Urban would headline one night of the Memorial Day weekend festivities.
Tree Town, which boasts two stages of music, launched in 2014 and takes place at Heritage Park in Forest City, about 120 miles north of Des Moines.
Past Tree Town headliners include Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw, Jake Owen, Blake Shelton, Dierks Bentley and more.
Announced 2018 acts Alabama and Charlie Daniels Band last played in Iowa together at the Iowa State Fair Grandstand in August. Urban last performed in Iowa at the 2017 Great Jones County Fair.
Four day, general admission passes to the camp-friendly festival are on sale for $125. Ticket prices plan to increase on Oct. 13, a news release said. Camping passes are also for sale, starting at $95.
