Cellar Peanut Pub in Oskaloosa, apparently. Well, that's according to the readers of CraftBeer.com. The bar features 50 beers on tap and over 340 in bottles or cans. The owner said that he plans to open the second Cellar Peanut Pub location in Pella next month. The Pella location also plans to offer 50 beer — all craft — on tap.
You could throw on your best black and white ensembles and grab a masquerade mask for the 3rd annual Black + White Ball this Saturday or go see Fall Out Boy at the Wells Fargo Arena on March 14. It's about time: Des Moines FINALLY has the all-Iowa tap room it deserves
THIS IS NOT A DRILL. Slipknot is scheduled to perform in Des Moines this summer for the first time since 2009. It's part of a 20th anniversary celebration for Lazer 103.3. Marilyn Manson and modern metal act Of Mice & Men are also scheduled to perform, too. The show is scheduled for August 5 and tickets to the show cost $45 and go on sale March 4 at 10 a.m. More information can be found at lazer1033.com.
