Good morning! Happy Tuesday. It's me, Ameena. I'm still waiting for summer temps to return to the metro. Since there isn't any sunshine to take in, we have to stay indoors. OUR NEW PRINCE FARMING (SORRY, CHRIS)

If you're a reality television junkie, like me, you're in luck. "The Bachelorette" is coming back to a TV screen near you, and guess what? There's an Iowan. His name is Derek Peth, 29, and he's originally from Waverly. He fears "fluffy kittens" and he hates cucumbers. SPOILER ALERT: I heard from Reality Steve that he gets the first 1-on-1 date, where they take a "private plane to San Francisco for a picnic at the Golden Gate Bridge. You can watch the drama unfold on May 23 when it debuts.

VACATION? YES, PLEASE

We're all planning on setting aside some time for a vacation, right? It doesn't have to be anything fancy and far away, we all just need to take some time away from our present surroundings. I think we've found some relaxing locations where you can kick back. Take some time to experience one (or all) of the eight most unique parks that Iowa has to offer. From Eagle Point Park in Dubuque to Ledges State Park in Madrid, it's all so beautiful.
