Good morning, Iowa!

In case you missed the memo, tomorrow starts a weekend full of 80/35 festival fun. Make sure that you’re following our reporter Matt on Twitter for live updates from the festival. Need to know what’s happening this week? Well, we’ve got you covered…

THE GOOD, BAD AND WEIRD

After nine years of 80/35, we’ve seen all types of moments at the festival. From Flavor Flav not showing up to perform with Public Enemy to David Byrne falling in love with Des Moines, quite a bit has happened throughout the years. Take a walk through memory lane. One of my personal favorite moments was watching Raz Simone perform on the main stage in 2014. He plucked a guy from the audience for a crowd surf. #DontDropDoug

HOMETOWN GLORY

With more than 20 acts from Iowa performing this year, get to know the homegrown musicians performing at 80/35 before heading to Western Gateway Park this weekend. You can catch Holy White Hounds, Maids, MarKaus and plenty more.
