The traveling comic convention heads to Des Moines in May 2017 for the third consecutive year. While no celebrity appearances have been announced for 2017, past appearances include William Shatner, Brandon Routh and Billy Boyd. The event is set to take place at the Iowa Events Center May 19-21.

Chart-topping bro-country duo Florida Georgia Line played Wells Fargo Arena on Sept. 15 and obviously liked it so much they decided to hurry back to Iowa. The group announced Wednesday that Cedar Falls will be a stop on a 28-city winter tour in support of the duo's latest studio record, "Dig Your Roots." Can't get enough country?
