Wednesday: The New York Americana trio Red Molly performs at 8 p.m. at Bluestem, 3329 Lincoln Way, Ames. The band is known for the vocal harmonies of members Abbie Gardner, Laurie MacAllister and Molly Venter. Four-Mile Creek opens. Iowa Public Radio will be recording the show. $16. Wednesday: Late last year, el Bait Shop, 200 S.W. Second St., ended live music with the exception of Brother Trucker’s monthly First Wednesday shows. We got eight additional Brother Trucker shows, but all good things must come to an end. The band’s final First Wednesday (Last Wednesday?) show will be at 8 p.m. Admission is free. The Crane Wives
