As part of National Cat Day, transportation company Uber partnered with shelters across the country to allow users to get 15 minutes of cuddle time with a kitten for a $30 donation. Donations in Des Moines went to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa.
What happens when kittens show up at work? Plenty of smiles and ooo's and ahhh's .
For a "snuggle fee" of $30, residents of Des Moines could request an Uber driver to bring you a cat for 15 minutes of playtime. The promotion helped to raise money for the Animal Rescue League of Iowa," a press release from Uber said.
