Ticket prices surged early in the week, a byproduct of a stacked slate of basketball blue bloods and early pre-sale events that allowed many locals to scoop up much of the ticket inventory months before the bracket was announced on Sunday.
But there appears to be plenty of inventory still available. On Wednesday, Wells Fargo Arena released some upper-level seats at face value for today's games. The arena's website still shows ticket availability as of Thursday morning. Those seats are going for $76, $81 and $105 depending on location.
So far, the bargains seem to be relegated to today's first-round games. Tickets for the Saturday's second-round games are ranging between $187 to $1,100 on StubHub.
