She's got a cute puppy face.
Three Iowa puppies are taking the field during Animal Planet's 15th annual Puppy Bowl on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 3), at 2 p.m. central time.
The special features 93 puppies from 51 shelters in the U.S., Costa Rica and Puerto Rico. There are three dozen starting players, which include a Corgi, a Shar Pei, a Labrador Retriever, a St. Bernard and various mixed breeds.
The Iowa pooches are from AHeinz 57 Pet Rescue and Transport in De Soto and are happily residing in their new homes since the show was taped last fall, according to the shelter.
Brooklyn is a Neapolitan Mastiff-American Staffordshire Terrier mix who was a mere three months old at the time of taping. With droopy ears and big paws, Brooklyn will make you go "awwwww."
If you like big, googly dogs Gallagher is the one to watch. An 18-week-old St. Bernard, his droopy face is sure to capture the "ooohs" of millions during the Puppy Bowl. Gallagher will search and rescue ... your heart.
Ziggy is 15-week-old Boston Terrier who's here to put the "tail" in "tailgate." While small in stature compared to his Iowa counterparts, Ziggy's spunk is sure to steal hearts (and maybe a few squeaky toys) on the pup-sized gridiron.
