Get ready to feel some nostalgia because R&B group Boyz II Men is bringing their smooth, crooning vocals to Des Moines in October.
The group will perform at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 1 at the Des Moines Civic Center. Tickets will go on sale Friday at 9 a.m.
As the best selling R&B group of all time, according to a Civic Center news release, the group is known for emotional songs like "End of the Road," "On Bended Knee" and "I'll Make Love to You."
The boy band, comprised of Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman, has won four Grammy Awards, nine American Music Awards, nine Soul Train Awards and three Billboard Awards. They also have a residency at The Mirage in Last Vegas through this year.
While Boyz II Men have performed for over 25 years, the group is still releasing new music like their albums, "Collide," in 2014 and "Under the Streetlight" in 2017. More recently, they performed on "Grease Live!" in 2016 and they opened up for Bruno Mars on his 24K Magic Tour in the United States in 2018.
Tickets to their Des Moines show can be purchased at DMPA.org, the Civic Center ticket office or by calling 515-246-2300.
