Zombie Burger and Shake Lab

This restaurant that began in Des Moines' East Village bringing its end-of-the-world burger and shake menu to hungry Iowans across the state. Known for its unique ingredient combinations, Zombie burger gained recent international recognition for its The Walking Ched burger — a choice of one, two or three burger patties nestled into a breaded and deep-fried mac and cheese bun and topped with bacon, cheddar cheese, caramelized and red onions, more mac and cheese and mayo. Top it off with a Human Centipede shake (vanilla ice cream, peach puree, white cake batter and graham cracker crumbs) and call it lunch.
