Foodie Fest 2018 will be held Friday, Sept. 21 at the Windsor Heights Community Center, 6900 School St., Windsor Heights, from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Eat and drink your way through tables of chef-prepared local food, beer and wine. Attendees can enter to win prizes, including a week-long stay in Acadia National Park.

Foodie Fest 2018 is hosted by the Sustainable Iowa Land Trust (SILT), a group launched in 2015 dedicated to protecting farmland so people can produce locally grown, healthy food for local farmers' markets and restaurants.

Tickets are $75 per person. A table for eight people can be reserved for $550. For tickets and more information, go to SILT's website at silt.org.
