This is the kind of weather Des Moines' skywalk was built for. It spans more than four miles across the city center, and If you're visiting, working or staying downtown — as will be many people for the Iowa high school state wrestling tournament — it's good to know that when it's unbearable outside, just about whatever kind of food you're looking for is within a pleasant stroll, and you can leave your coat behind.
