A popular Thai restaurant once located in West Des Moines has reopened its doors in Adel with a streamlined menu and weekday hours.
Lemon Grass, formerly located at 1221 8th Street in West Des Moines, had its final day of service on Oct. 27.
The revamped restaurant opened its new location with nine tables at 909 Main Street in Adel on Jan. 16.
"I wanted to open a smaller restaurant with shorter hours so I can focus on taking care of my kids and my family," said owner Chad Lovan.
Lemon Grass is open for lunch and dinner from Monday through Friday with a streamlined menu of Lovan's most popular specialties. The menu will include dishes with custom heat levels from one to five, five being the hottest.
