A KISS-tied restaurant in Des Moines? It's a possibility, says band member Paul Stanley

KISS vocalist and guitarist Paul Stanley loves to cook and loves good food in general. He and bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons are co-owners of the “family-friendly” Rock & Brews restaurant chain, which has 20 locations in the U.S. and Mexico.
The restaurants are decorated with an abundance of music memorabilia. Rock tunes and videos play on multiple TV screens. The chain also touts its use of local ingredients; its brews are highlighted by area brewers, too.
Rock & Brews has locations in Overland Park, Kansas, and in St Louis. Stanley, in a phone interview with the Des Moines Register ahead of KISS's Sept. 3 tour stop in Des Moines, said the central Iowa metro is under consideration.
“We have a list of cities that we are actively investigating, and Des Moines is one of them,” Stanley said.
“I'm hoping I have enough time to hit Zombie Burger (when we’re in town). The funny thing is that people somehow think that great food has to be tidy and you have to be dressed for it. Great food can be a great hot dog. And what great food is to one person may be of no interest to someone else. So, great food to me is everything from a great burger and a shake to a more upscale (attitude) that some people think of. But, it's all personal taste.”
