A restaurant in India debuts their robot staff, but will the food come any quicker? Wochit

Bennigan’s on Merle Hay in Urbandale is now closed and undergoing a complete renovation.

Kinseth Hospitality Company — the parent company of Bennigan's — announced the recent closure of the restaurant in a press release.

The restaurant will be temporarily closed during the renovation that began Sunday.

The restaurant is known for its appetizers, burgers, soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees, desserts and cocktails.

Kinseth said it is introducing a new prototype with an all-new interior design, new menus and a new bar experience.

The new restaurant design will be warm and inviting, putting the focus on the food, the drinks and Irish hospitality.

The extensive renovation is expected to be completed late January to early February 2020, at which time the restaurant will re-open to the public.

Kinseth Hospitality is based in North Liberty, Iowa, and currently operates over 70 hotels and 5 branded restaurants in 11 states.
