515 Alive bringing EOTO, The Floozies to Western Gateway Park
Two electronic music duos will headline this year's 515 Alive Music Festival, held Aug. 7-8 in Western Gateway Park. EOTO and The Floozies were announced, along with Snails, Manic Focus, G Jones, Filibusta, Jphelpz, Bommer and others.
EOTO was formed by The String Cheese Incident members Michael Travis and Jason Hann as a side project to the main band. The Floozies are brothers Matt and Mark Hill, based out of Kansas, who release all their music free on their website.
More than 70 acts were announced, including bands like Mint and rap acts like Gadema & Daggers as well as an Iowa Hip-Hop Showcase. The festival features multiple stages, light displays and last year introduced a silent disco, where two DJs would spin at the same time and attendees could switch back and forth between channels on headphones to hear the set.
A third headliner is still to be announced.
Tickets are $35 for both days and are on sale now through Eventbrite.
