Family death postpones Los Lonely Boys show

The Los Lonely Boys Nitefall on the River concert scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at Brenton Skating Plaza has been postponed due to the death of the mother of band members Henry, Jojo and Ringo Garza.

The band’s management issued a statement:

“We are very sorry to announce that Los Lonely Boys’ mother unexpectedly passed away today. As a result, the brothers will need to postpone the dates through June 23rd. We appreciate your understanding at this very sad time for LLB, and hope to reschedule the dates. Thank you for your continued support and love for the band, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.”

The show had been moved from Simon Estes Amphitheater to the covered Brenton due to flooding. Opening act Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers will perform a longer set for a reduced ticket price of $15.

Tickets purchased through Ticketfly will be refunded automatically. Tickets purchased at the Wooly’s box office will be refunded tonight at Brenton Skating Plaza or noon-5 p.m. Monday-Friday at Wooly’s.
