Nickelback cancels entire tour, including Des Moines stop
Canadian rockers Nickelback have canceled the 2015 "No Fixed Address Tour," including a July 14 show at Wells Fargo Arena. Lead singer Chad Kroeger has been diagnosed with a cyst on his vocal cords, requiring emergency surgery and three weeks of vocal rest.
In a statement, Kroeger said:
"I am sorry I have to interrupt the party this summer and I am definitely not thrilled with the prospect of being silent for many weeks to come when I could be out there playing for our fans. I am relying on my doctor and his team to help get my voice back in good form as quickly as possible."
Refunds are available at the point of purchase. If you purchased tickets online through dahlstickets.com, they will be refunded automatically.
Extremely dedicated Nickelback fans can catch the band on tour in Europe this fall. Kroeger's medical team anticipates he will be recovered in time for the band's Sept. 30 show in Helsinki, Finland.
