Organizers revealed the lineup for the 2017 edition of Hinterland Music Festival, scheduled to take place Aug. 4 and 5 at the Avenue of the Saints Ampitheater in St. Charles, Ia.

It’s never too early to start planning your weekend at a music festival.

Organizers of Hinterland Music Festival, the St. Charles-based two-day event scheduled for Aug. 4 and 5, revealed Wednesday set times for the highly-anticipated summer event. British experimental rock band alt-J is scheduled to headline Aug. 4 and acclaimed indie rock songwriter Ryan Adams will close the festival on Aug. 5. Both headlining sets are set to begin at 9:30 p.m. Music kicks off Aug. 4 at 5:15 p.m. and Aug. 5 at 12:45 p.m.

In 2016, behind country legend Willie Nelson and folk rock act Ray LaMontagne, the event drew an estimated 18,500 people over two days to the Avenue of the Saints Amphitheater in Madison County, located roughly 30 miles south of Des Moines. This August marks the third planned year for the festival.

Hinterland unveiled single-day ticket information Wednesday; tickets to Friday’s four-act festivities cost $49 and a pass to see the eight scheduled acts Saturday costs $59. Single-day tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via

Modern blues performer Gary Clark Jr., country staple Dwight Yoakam, indie group The Head and The Heart and Iowa acts Max Jury and Annalibera are also slated to perform throughout the weekend. A full list of performers and set times can be found below.
