A taste of Delaware is headed to Des Moines.
Famed craft brewery Dogfish Head confirmed Monday plans to begin distribution this week in the Hawkeye state.
Dogfish Head beers such as 60 Minute IPA and Namaste White hit shelves Monday, a news release from the brewery said. Beer from the Milton, Delaware-based brewery plans to be sold throughout the state on tap and in stores. Distribution comes via Iowa-based Johnson Brothers Liquor Company.
“We have our canning and bottling lines pumping out a ton of beer and enough brewing capacity to ensure we can keep retailers well stocked with our off-centered, well-differentiated family of beers for years to come,” Dogfish Head founder and CEO Sam Calagione said in a news release.
Calagione was honored in 2017 by the James Beard Foundation.
