Time to head back to the farm, country fans.
Megastar Luke Bryan brings his popular Farm Tour back to the Hawkeye State on Sept. 29. The show plans to take place on the Ziel Farm in rural Boone, says Bryan's website.
Tickets cost $51 before fees and go on sale June 6 via lukebryan.com/farm-tour. Advance parking passes cost $5. Ticket price increases to $60 on show day, with day-of parking pass increasing to $20.
A tailgate begins at 2 p.m., with music planning to start at 6 p.m. Opening acts are yet to be announced.
The “Country Girl” and “Play It Again” singer brought a sold out crowd of 20,000 country fans to the same location in 2017, his first Farm Tour stop in Iowa. Bryan played a 23-song set that night, holding the stage for about two hours.
The Ziel Farm can be found east of Boone, directly north of U.S. Highway 30 and the Central Iowa Expo.
This fall marks year 10 for the Farm Tour, which brings the “American Idol” judge and award-winning star to six rural American farms. A portion of the Farm Tour proceeds are used to create college scholarships for farming families.
In 2016, Bryan released an EP, "Farm Tour … Here's to the Farmer," to celebrate the tradition.
The show plans to be the second in Iowa this year for the Country Music Association entertainer of the year, with Bryan playing the Great Jones County Fair on July 20.
