Sax master Kenny G is bringing his holiday show to Iowa

A night of holiday sax is headed to Cyclone country this November.
Acclaimed saxophonist and Twitter master Kenny G plans to bring his “Miracle Holiday and Hits” tour to Stephens Auditorium in Ames on Nov. 28, a Wednesday night.
Tickets cost $149.50, $89.50, $55.00, $45.00 or $35.00 and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. via the Stephens Auditorium box office, online at ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
The Grammy Award-winning smooth jazz player has released 24 albums in his four-decade career, according to a news release, totaling worldwide albums sales of roughly 75 million copies.
“Kenny G will perform his beautifully arranged world-renown holiday songs as well as a set filled with his most treasured hits from his illustrious recording career,” the release stated. “It will be an evening filled with festive spirit and contemporary classics.”
Additional concerts upcoming at Stephens Auditorium include comedians Steve Martin and Martin Short on Sept. 23, songwriter Ray LaMontagne on Oct. 26 and Grammy Award-winning metal act Ghost on Nov. 4.
