A pair of "American Idol" favorites treated country fans Saturday night to a surprise reunion on an Iowa farm.
This year's winner of the ABC reality singing competition, Maddie Poppe, of Clarksville, joined "Idol" judge Luke Bryan on stage during Bryan's Farm Tour stop on the Ziel Farm in Boone.
Poppe and Bryan performed a rain-soaked duet of "Picture," a 2002 number originally released by Sheryl Crow and Kid Rock. Bryan teased in a media conference earlier this week plans to bring a "special guest" on stage in Iowa.
"As you guys know, you guys had an Iowa girl win 'Idol' this year," Bryan said, introducing Poppe.

Bryan left the stage following the duet, offering Poppe a chance to perform a solo, acoustic rendition of Janis Joplin's "Me and Bobby McGee."
Poppe returned to her home state earlier this month to perform in Clinton and Jefferson, her first Iowa shows since earning the "Idol" crowd last May.
"I think a lot of people would've canceled in weather like this, but (Bryan's) such a great guy," Poppe told the audience. "Give it up for him."
The Farm Tour returned Saturday night to Boone for a second consecutive year, playing a mud-soaked field. Chase Rice, the Peach Pickers and Jon Langston opened the show.
