Bryan returns to Iowa’s capital city as part of the “What Makes You Country” tour, a run of shows supporting his sixth studio album of the same name. “Forever Girl” singer Jon Langston opens the show.
A familiar face to Iowa’s biggest stages, Bryan returns to the Hawkeye state following a Sept. 2018 performing in Boone, part of his annual Farm Tour. He’s previously performed on an Iowa State Fair free stage, at the Great Jones County Fair and Burlington Steamboat Days.
Bryan’s known for 20 No. 1 Billboard Country Airplay hits, including “Rain is a Good Thing,” “I Don’t Want This Night to End,” “Move,” “Kick the Dust Up” and “Country Girl.”
Speaking with the Register last year, Bryan described bringing his Farm Tour to Iowa: “The first year that we did Boone, Iowa, it may have been our biggest crowd we ever had at Farm Tour. Just the energy. I tell you nothing’ can replicate bein’ in the heart of the heartland. Bein’ out there in Iowa in corn country. It was really special, really magical.”
