Well, well, well . . . it looks like Des Moines ended up on another top 10 list.

Matador, a travel website with more than 12 million monthly visitors, has declared our fair city one of the 10 most underrated cities for millennials. (Of course, millennials already knew this. They heard it from the BuzzFeed receptor implanted in their brains.)

Along with a short string of statistics – the cost of living here is 10 percent below the national average, the median home price is $150,000 – the blurb gave shout-outs to Zombie Burger, RoCA, Fong’s Pizza and the Flying Mango. It also passed around kudos to the Des Moines Social Club, Wooly’s, Gas Lamp, Flix Brewhouse and Theatre, and both the 80/35 and Hinterland music festivals, as well as the startup community.

The other cities on the list, in no particular order, are: Pittsburgh; San Antonio; Portland, Maine; Boise, Idaho; Athens, Ga.; Albuquerque, N.M.; St. Petersburg, Fla.; Richmond, Va.; and Providence, R.I.
