Baby Shark doo doo doo doo doo doo ... to ring through Des Moines' Civic Center in October
Bad news for those "Baby Shark" cynics (and great news for its fans!): It has swum onto the Billboard Hot 100.
Good news for those who desire more "Baby Shark" in their lives.
Based on the viral children's song, "Baby Shark Live!" will be coming to Des Moines' Civic Center at 6 p.m. on Oct. 29. The performance is part of a North American tour.
Pinkfong's viral version of the song "Baby Shark" reached No. 32 on the Billboard Hot 100 and had a 17-week streak in the top 50. The YouTube video has over 3 billion views, making it the eighth-most viewed YouTube video in history.
“We’re thrilled to bring 'Baby Shark Live!' to families across the country,” said Stephen Shaw, the tour’s producer, in a prepared statement. “There’s something incredibly special about 'Baby Shark,' and it’s exciting to create a show that not only includes singing and dancing but an education component as well.”
In the show, Baby Shark and his friend, Pinkfong, a pink raccoon, will take the audience on an adventure through the sea. Attendees can expect to hear songs "Five Little Monkeys," "Wheels on the Bus," "Jungle Boogie," "Monkey Banana Dance" and, of course, "Baby Shark."
Des Moines is one of 30 cities that are part of the tour's first leg.
